Opened in 2003, the post and beam barn and Equestrian Center at The Cliffs at Keowee offers programs, lessons, and boarding. Farrier and veterinary services are available via the center’s accredited stable manager.

Fazio Course at Keowee Vineyards

Keowee Vineyards’ Fazio course, with 8 lakeside holes, was rated a Best New Private Course by Golf Digest. Signature Hole 17, shown here, was described by Fazio himself as “perhaps the most picturesque hole in South Carolina” and ranked as the toughest hole on the 2004 Nationwide Tour.

Golf at The Cliffs at Keowee borders on the sublime. With an award-winning Tom Fazio design, pictured above, another Fazio course in design, and a Nicklaus Signature course under construction, these courses bring the total holes available to Members to an astounding 108.

Fed by hundreds of clear Appalachian streams, Lake Keowee spans 18,500 acres and is nestled within the ridgelines of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Lake Jocassee, which is 90% federally and state protected, neighbors Keowee, and Members of The Cliffs at Keowee enjoy convenient access to both.
