Dale Lynch
Dale Lynch has been a member of the PGA of Australia for almost 30 years and is regarded as one of Australia’s most astute teachers. Having played the Australasian Tour for seven years, Dale has since shifted his attention and focus to studying and coaching the game of golf. Dale had been a coach at “The Victorian Institute of Sport” since its inception in 1991, the first six years as Assistant Coach and final five years as Head Coach. The Victorian Institute of Sport golf program is recognized as one of the premier golf programs in the world, producing 5 individual winners on the US PGA Tour culminating with Geoff Ogilvy’s win in The U.S.Open
Dale is currently the Principle Director of Golf for International Institute of Golf (www.iofgolf.com) and is an AAA accredited member of the PGA of Australia.
Other Achievements:
• Dale was named Victorian PGA Coach of the Year in 1995, 1997/1998, 1999/ 2000.
• Dale was Australian PGA Coach of the Year in 2000.
• Dale was a finalist for the Australian Coaching Council’s Coach of the Year in
2000, won by Doug Frost – Coach of swimming sensation Ian Thorpe.

‘Dale coached a number of successful young golfers in Australia. Highlights include
Aaron Baddeley winning the 2000 Australian Open as an amateur at Age 19
Geoff Ogilvy winning the 2006 US Open who Dale still coaches to this day
‘Dale has been a US PGA Tour Accredited Coach since 1999
‘Dale spends much of his time coaching US Tour Players Geoff Ogilvy, Steve Allan, Mathew Goggin, Nationwide Tour Players David McKenzie, Roger Tambellini, Kim Felton, Scott Gardiner and Tripp Isenhour
Dale has presented at PDP Seminars for the Australian PGA both at State and National levels
Dale is a current contributor to Golf Australia and Vic Golf
