Geoff Ogilvy will be hoping to finish this year just as he started with a victory this time in the season ending Fed Ex Cup event at The Tour Championship in Atlanta. A victory will not see Geoff take out The Fed Ex Cup which he led in the early part of the season after his victories in Hawaii and World Matchplay, however a win would cap off a successful year for him.
I will be heading to Scottsdale later this week to work with both Geoff and Aaron. Stay tuned as I will keep you updated on their progress

Mat Goggin, Aaron Baddeley and Geoff Ogilvy have used different preparations for this year’s Masters. Geoff and Aaron both had a rest day on Monday whilst Mat took the opportunity to have a look at the famed Augusta layout in his first Masters.

Cold windy weather at Augusta on Tuesday altered Geoff and Aaron’s plans of playing 18 holes, Aaron had a light practice working technique before playing 9 holes. Geoff had a light practice working on his short game. Mat continued with his original plan of playing 18 holes as it was important for him to familiarize himself further with the course.

Geoff played 18 holes on Wednesday; Aaron practiced before and after 9 holes and Mat played 9 holes with a light practice session.

All players are in good touch and can’t wait for the gun to go off Thursday

Mat Goggin’s tie for fourth at the Transition Championship in Tampa on Sunday lifted him from 58th to 49th in the world rankings. Mat finished #1 in Ball Striking that week further enhancing his reputation as one of the premier ball strikers on tour. Mat is playing at Bay Hill this week where he requires another solid showing in order to secure his first trip to Augusta.

Mathew Goggin who is currently 58 in the world rankings needs a solid showing over the next three weeks on The PGA Tour to force his way into The Masters. Mat is playing in this week’s Transition Championship in Florida and has events at Bay Hill and Huston to follow.

Mat has had a two week rest after competing in the WGC World Matchplay in Tucson. Here you can see Mat at our new facility at IIG at The Cliffs on Sunday tuning up his game for this week’s Transition Championship
Mat’s game is in good shape and is confident of a solid showing

Geoff Ogilvy had to withdraw from the event due to illness. This has altered his preparation for The Masters where he will have an early practice round at Augusta prior to competing at Huston as his final tune up for a tilt at this year’s first Major
